Foteini Patera

Welfare and Inclusion

Foteini grew up in Greece, where basketball is one of the most popular sports. Bouncing a ball since the age of 7, she quickly found herself in a basketball club advancing ahead of her age. However, unfortunate coach-player match forced her to drop the dream of professional basketball and only went back to it in adulthood. Ever since, Foteini promised herself to play only in teams where she feels happy. In Comets since their founding in 2019, she found her basketball family and is determined to promote the welfare of everyone in the team.
